MGA Structural Engineers office is located in downtown Colorado Springs and has been providing professional structural engineering services along the Front Range since 1996.

Over the years, the MGA staff has built a solid reputation of cooperation working with Architects, Owner’s representatives, Contractors and other consultants to facilitate the completion of projects within schedules and budgets.

The staff at MGA comes with over 100 years of structural engineering experience from many different building sectors.

MGA has experience with projects for industrial and distribution, educational, medical and healthcare, religious institutions, retail, entertainment, restaurant and commercial sectors as well as institutional for public, cities, counties, the state of Colorado and the Federal Government. 

Each sector has its own unique problems and unique design solutions and delivery methods. We can often use this experience and offer design solutions outside a particular sector that can save time and money and bring extra value to a project. 

* Construction documents are generated using BIM / Revit Structure, or AutoCAD at the client’s discretion.  MGA has been using BIM / Revit for construction documents since 2007 and currently over 95% of the projects use BIM for the deliverables. 

* Expertise in current and past design codes include the International Building Code, American Concrete Institute, American Institute of Steel Construction and Military Unified Facilities Criteria.

* Engineering is performed utilizing 3-D analytical software for Frame and Finite Element Modeling, structural component software and in-house custom spreadsheet programs.
