MGA Structural Engineers, Inc. is a Colorado Springs, Colorado-based consulting structural engineering firm founded in 1996 by Michael Gaines, P.E. and Kevin Roth P.E. providing expert engineering services to Architects, Building Owners, Contractors and Developers along the Front Range of Colorado and prides itself on producing quality projects that are on schedule and within budget.

Project Engineering Management is provided by Principals
Kevin Roth, P.E. and Jon Dietrich, P.E.

Structural Engineering support is provided by Jonathan Callahan P.E.,
Anthony Barrett, Ph.D., P.E. and Adam Balsiger, P.E.

MGA has successfully produced projects utilizing design-bid-build, design build and integrated project delivery (IPD) methods.

MGA Structural Engineers, Inc. has been qualified to provide structural engineering services for the Colorado State Buildings Program, which include higher education facilities, Colorado Department of Corrections and Colorado Department of Transportation.  MGA Structural Engineers, Inc. also has an open-end contract with the City of Colorado Springs/Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority, Colorado Springs Utilities, Colorado Springs School District 11, Academy School District 20 and Colorado College for as needed structural engineering services.

MGA uses state of the art tools for design and drafting. CAD workstations use the most current AutoCAD and Revit Structure modeling software. MGA has extensive expertise in current and past design codes including the International Building Code, American Concrete Institute, American Institute of Steel Construction, Military Unified Facilities Criteria, Department of Defense Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings and the National Design Specifications for Wood Construction.

MGA carries professional liability insurance and statutory worker’s compensation and business insurance. P.E. registrations are currently maintained in Colorado, Texas and Washington. Professional society memberships include American Society of Civil Engineers, American Concrete Institute, American Institute of Steel Construction and American Council of Engineering Companies.

MGA has received Rocky Mountain Chapter American Concrete Institute awards in 2007, 2008 and 2009, a Partnership for Community Design award in 2003 and a Masterworks in Masonry award from the Rocky Mountain Masonry Institute in 2004. MGA Structural Engineers, Inc. is a Colorado corporation with privately held stock.
